Creative Dining Services is looking for a Barista at Truett McConnell University.
The Barista maintains operations at the coffee shop while maintaining a positive environment, which provides fast, efficient, and friendly service ensuring a quality experience for both our customers and team members.
The Barista is responsible for customer service, product knowledge and education, and encouraging safe work practices.
Core
Responsibilities:
Prepares and presents food & beverages according to established recipe and presentation standards.
Provides service to the customers in a positive, friendly, helpful manner.
Responds proactively to prevent customer service situations.
Investigates and resolves customer incidents, documenting if necessary.
Runs a register, other devices and Credit Card Machine accurately, following all cash handling procedures.
Follows current trends in the coffee business and makes operations suggestions.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
One year of retail or six months of specialty coffee experience.
Basic computer knowledge.
