Teach knowledge, skills and Christian values related to course objectives in the classroom, simulation lab and in the clinical setting. Support the mission and philosophy of the Division of Nursing and Truett-McConnell College and collaborate with colleagues and others in the development, implementation and evaluation of instructional programs to meet relevant learning outcomes. Participate in assessment and evaluation of course objectives, goals and student outcomes as required by the Truett-McConnell, GABON and CCNE. Teach in different settings such as lectures, lab and clinical areas and promote a facilitative learning environment. Improve on methods of instruction and the evaluation of students. Encourage and stimulate students' critical thinking and creative ability in the classroom and in clinical practice. Serve as a member on student's scholarly capstone paper/theses committee and as a clinical role model to nursing students and improve clinical teaching methods and clinical skills. Determine, select and organize facilities, equipment and materials required for student learning experiences. Prepare course syllabi and participate in academic advising and counseling of pre-nursing and nursing students consistent with current Division of Nursing requirements and Christian values. Assist in improving the advisement process and identify needs of learners relative to the objectives of the program. Assist learners to identify learning needs. Participate in essential nursing and college committee meetings as required. Participate in and/or conduct clinical or education research studies, and may assist in developing proposals, administering grants, and/or presenting scholarly papers to professional groups. Promote and interpret the nursing profession and the Division of Nursing to Truett-McConnell and the public. Share specialized knowledge through clinical or other professional practice and provide guidance and support to adjunct faculty. Attend and participate in continuing education programs, professional meetings, conferences and workshops that facilitate professional development. Keep abreast of current issues in the nursing practice, skills and education and perform any other responsibilities as deemed necessary by the Chair of the Division of Nursing. Requires: Masters Degree in Nursing (US or FDE), 3 years experience in the job offered or related position, including 1 year experience of nursing education and clinical nursing.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
